Hi, im Caleb. Im a future subaru owner. I rlly want a bug eye or a va (i want all of them tbh). most likely a bugeye though. Im a rlly big car nerd and i know more than the avg 17 yr old but thats my only claim to fame lol. ps since ill most likely buy a bug eye mod suggestions would be helpful. im only looking for 250-270 whp because i prefer handling over power and it would br nice to have a reliable daily that i could take to the mountain roads every once in a while :)

I hope that you find what you're looking for. Do you have a question?

Are you mechanically inclined with access to tools...because old cars need attention. I'm sure that you already know the places to look. Be sure to find out how they fail (rust, turbo, etc.) and thoroughly check it out before you buy.

Warning off roading is habit forming like drugs and should only be attempted by well equipped, mechanically inclined types because AAA ain't coming to save you. It's either fix it yourself or walk away and leave it.

if you say so, in reality I've been reading adult level books since I was in the third grade. I also have a pretty high level vocabulary and I've been known for using "big words" since I was young, but we're all entitled to our own opinions.

Hi Caleb. I'm on the other end of the bugeye spectrum being 70 years old and the original owner for almost 24 years of an almost dead stock original '02 bugeye wagon which is my daily driver. It has (only) 143k miles with the original clutch and a recent restoration/repaint to take care of some rust and peeling clearcoat problems. Still a blast to drive and unfortunately not for sale but thought you might like to know nice ones are out there.

I know being rude to people on here is like your "thing" but man, really...
I am only rude to rude people or those who have otherwise earned it. And yes, I'm both old and conservative. Maybe if people quit putting up with all the crap there wouldnt be as much of it for everyone else to wade through.

wow i actually have a very unusual love for bugeye wagons. yours is very nice and i will definitely be on the look out for a nice bugeye sedan.
