Forester seats

The front passenger seat in our 2003 Forester XS is very
uncomfortable--much harder than any other seat in the vehicle. Have
others encountered this, or did we just get stuck with a bad seat?

I had the same problem with my Outback STW 2002 and then I found these:

I've never felt more comfy on a 5K+ km trip then now. Vancouver, BC -
Las Vegas NE - San Fran. CA.

It is worth it.

The lumbar support adjuster is on the side of the seat (the inside side, or
the passenger side). throttle it down some, and the seat is much more
tolerable.

I have the same compliant with my 2003 Forrester. It is a great car except
for the damn hard seat cushion and seat back. I got no sayisfaction from
either the dealer or the factory which sent me the "cockroach letter" Herb

Same as my 2000 Forester but, after about 4,000 seat miles it's fine. Now
have 72,000 miles and all is well.
