Exhaust flow engine code

Got the check engine code on my daughter's 2014 Impreza 2.0. I don't remember the code number but the message was "exhaust flow". Is there a flow sensor in the EGR system? I had a similar problem with a 2002 Ford F150 and it was a flow sensor.
