I have a 2013 Subaru WRX hatch non sti. Back in 2025 Winter my clutch started to feel like it's bite point got lower and lower then suddenly my clutch could not disengage, and I was unable to shift into any gear without forcing it in and it grinding loudly. I checked many things. Was not my firewall, was not my pedal assembly, was not my master cylinder, was not my slave cylinder, was not any leaks in my hydraulic lines. I have since then replaced my master and slave and did a full hydaulic flush. Friends of mine recommend that I check my pressure plate, clutch or throwout bearing next. I am wondering if anyone has had this issue as well and if they could recommend on what I do next. I also have a squeak noise when the clutch is pushed in and it is not coming from my pedal assembly. Could that be the throw out bearing?
