Hello, we have a 2017 Subaru Outback with 28756 miles. We were driving at night when our headlights went off. We had them set to Auto and they have been on that setting from the beginning. We noted that the dash light was not showing that the lights were on. After messing around with the light switch, we were able to get things working again. Then it stopped again and then it started again. The lights were on but the dash lights were not on. We took it our local Subaru dealer (Larry Miller) and they could not find out what was going on, No error. codes. They told us that they could start replacing parts and charging us for them until it fixed the problem. We are retired people that’s not going to work.....So they told us not to use the Auto mode anymore and keep it manual mode. This seems to me to be a BIG safety problem. Dealership seem to have no answer. What should we do?
