My 2020 Ascent "chirps" when shifting from reverse to forward (from dead stop). Its a Limited model with 35K miles and its been doing this since early on, its has had the transmisiion recall performed. I've asked the dealer about the noise and they say its normal. I also have an 2018 Outback and it does not make this noise. I have a had time beliving this is normal and fear it will lead to a larger issue. Anyone have this issue?
