Hi,
How many owners of a 2019 (& maybe others) Outback are experiencing unexpected openings of the rear hatch that is supposedly locked? I know of at least one other owner at the same dealership that has video taped the problem while the car was in their garage at night. There is no way to physically lock any door. You are forced to accept Subaru"s nifty high tech computerized locking system, that the dealer's service department wants to blame on the rubber mat they put on the floor getting in the way despite the fact that the mat had been removed already to try to solve the problem. This is a real time saving device, you no longer have to physically unlock your car so it can be stolen, or just have the car's contents stolen, or, if you are lucky like we were and just have to chase your dogs down a busy street after your car decides to open while we were in a store for 5 minutes.
