I'm having acceleration problems. Either the accelerator is not responsive, or, if I set the cruise control, the cruise control simply shuts off. When this happens, the brake light goes on. I can "reset" by putting the clutch in, or changing gears, or using my foot to pull the brake pedal up (it does not move much but this routinely works)
Sometimes, this is accompanied by the ABS light and the hill assist light turning on. Once that happens, I can't use cruise control again until I turn the car off and then on again.
The clutch was replaced a year ago. I had the brake sensor recall work done (which, as I understand it, involved rebooting the computer, but not switching out the brake sensor?)
I don't really speak car, so break things down to the basics, please.
