The air conditioner is working fine but when I push the recirculate button the light will not stay on. Any suggestions as to cause and or remedy? Thanks

Misleading post title.
Inspect the air opening from the outside (under the wipers) and look for rodent intrusion on top of the dust and pollen filter.
Clean out all debris.
Open the passenger compartment and behind the glovebox there should be a cover to remove the dust and pollen filter.
Clean the remaining debris.
Test the recirculation door with the filter removed. the door should open and close.
Install a new filter.
Assemble the remaining covers.
Test the HVAC for fault codes.

Recycled air clicking

Whenever i put my heat or air contioning on and use the recycled air option, after about ten seconds a clicking or slight knocking comes from under the dash behind the glovebox. Could someone help me figure out what this is and if it is a DIY project or not. It isn't the biggest deal in rld i...

Cabin Air Filter

Why does the cabin air filter cover on most newer Subaru vehicles have open baffles on the cabin air filter cover?? This allows air to bypass the filter element??
