My Outback has always started up very nice, 2-3 cranks vroom. Over the last week it has changed a little it still starts 2-3 cranks but it stutters for 1 or 2 seconds like it's not sure it wants to go then vroom. Could the plugs be causing this type of issue? probably 35,000 Mi. on them. If not then what? I have filled with premium grade gas no difference. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

Restricted exhaust?
Defective MAF?
Restricted air box?
Low fuel pressure?
Sticking EGR?
Vacuum leak?
Defective PCV valve?
Defective / worn spark plugs?
And the timing belt was done when?
And the recorded fault codes are?

Thank you for that list. The one thing I will say except for the starting issue the car runs as usual.
Timing belt done 103,000 mi.
I don't have a check engine light should I still check for codes
I'm going to clean the Throttle body and the MAF and new air filter
I ordered new plugs will replace them
I don't think any exhaust restriction
How to check the EGR and PVC or just replace?
Is there a way to check fuel pressure?

Thanks for your help

Thanks for those links.
The car runs great except for that slight starting issue. If there was low fuel pressure or exhaust problems wouldn't I see some symptoms while driving the car? Thanks
