2007 wrx tr with newer ej255 running rich

Just bought a 2007 wrx but came with a newer model ej255 compression is good on all 4 cylinders but it’s running rich would I need a different harness or newer Ecu and how can I identify the exact model that engine came off from any help is really appreciated .
