Last year paid a shop to rebuild the transmission in my 2005 Outback. Ever since then it's been front wheel drive only. It's been back to that shop twice they replaced the AWD solenoid twice but it's still front wheel drive only. Any suggestions as to what this shop might have done to cause this? 1k miles after the service was driving and saw plume of white smoke, pulled over and shut down within 30 seconds. Found the main seal just popped out trans fluid all running out. Could that have damaged another trans part?
