2005-2009 Outback XT Fuel Economy

Hello everyone,

I am considering buying this generation Outback XT and I was curious as to people's experience with the car and its real-world fuel economy in particular. Thanks so much.

For most variants, the Outback can go more than 610 miles on a single full tank of petrol. These particular trim levels have a highway mileage of 33 mpg and a city mileage of 26 mpg. The XT trim levels provide highway mileage of 30 mpg and city mileage of 23 mpg.27.
