2004 wrx sti

Check engine with flashing cruise control light came on while driving home from work. Any common issues with this? Just curious before I take it to the shop for diagnosis.
 
Very normal for the cruise light to flash with the CEL

Get it scanned and you'll know more - likely gonna be O2 sensor related...possibly cylinder misfire...
