2002 Outback driver side wiper

The driver side wiper on my outback has a variable arc, i.e. sometimes
it will go right up to the trim on the left side, sometimes it will go
over the trim and other times it will stop short of the trim.

Is there an adjsutment I can make to correct this?

Sounds like the nute holding the arm is loose. Remove the plastic or
rubber cap and tighten.
