2002 Legacy L wagon

My 2001 Legacy wagon has about 18k miles. Recently every time I started the
car, I can hear fluid flowing behind the dashboard. Then after I drove it
for over 5 miles the sound will go away until maybe the next day when I
started it again.

Is the sound of fluid coming from fuel? Is it because some parts (filter)
gets clogged?

Thanks for the reply. Whatever fluid it may be, I wonder why it showed up
only after I drove it for about 18k miles.

That car should be under warranty. Take it to the dealer.

I have the same in a 91 legacy, but it only lasts for a couple of seconds.
It sound weird, my only thought is that the air con has deposited a wee bit
of condenstion by the blower.

Thanks for the info. That does line up with the weather here, which is
summer right now and I do use air con from time to time.
