What did I find under my panel?

Hello! I recently installed a Curt hitch on my 23 Forester Wilderness and while removing a portion of panel in the rear I found this orange pull tab. I can’t find anything on Google to tell me what this is for. Rear passenger side above the speaker. Thanks!
