STi Short Throw Shifter

Has anyone installed a kartboy shifter on an Sti?

I have an '05 STi and would like to add the shifter and bushings, but
I'm concerned that the shift effort will be too high. I know it works
fine on the WRX, but that's a longer throw unit than the STi's.

Is the Kartboy a much shorter throw than the stock STi 6spd?

Check over on nasioc.com...you should find at
least an hour's worth of reading of comparisions
between all the available shifters, bushing kits,
etc.

You could always try the $30 Kartboy products first and see if that does it
to your liking.... If it's still not up to snuff, then consider the more
expensive and arduous labor.
