Hello: I've got a brand new Crosstrek with black interior. I've got singe marks on the seats and center console that roughly match the diameter of my phone charging cord. There are no breaks in the cord, and it doesn't get hot when I charge the phone. I've also used this cord with other cars, including my last Subaru (this is my 8th), with no problems. I live in the northeast, so we're not talking desert temperatures. The dealer denies responsibility and Subaru of America has gone silent on me. Does anybody have any thoughts?
