Question , I had a plastic slapping sound coming from my heater / A/C unit under the right side dash

The local dealer found a piece of duct tape stuck on the actuator door . Removed it and the sound has gone away and everything seems to be working ok . Has anyone ever come across this ? Thanks for any feedback !
