Professional clearcoat for new legacy

hi folks, 1st time posting here...
just bought a leftover 2019 Legacy Limited.... our 7 th subaru over 30 yrs..
I know the factory does a clear coat protection but is it worth it to get additional coating applied? [dealer or aftermarket company]
have heard of different processes like CERAMIC coating as an example.........
yes.- the car will not be garaged
yes.- we plan to keep it 10 yrs or more..

Subaru factory clear coat is water base, I learned this when pine tree sap ate through it and did not eat through the laquer clear coat on my other cars. So if you will be near any sap dropping trees then yes get it coated, make sure whoever does it knows it has a waterbase clear coat on it.
