Hello,

Im having a problem with my 2008 Subaru Outback wagon 2.5L. Only the driver side window works. so far I have replaced the master switch. I have tested all the other motors and I can get them to work by adding ground/ power so I know its not the motors. I have checked the wires for continuity in the door jambs and that is fine. I have checked for continuity on the red wires from the master switch to the passenger door. That tested good. I have tested the ohms in the passenger switch according to the shop manual specs and that tested good. I didn't replace the relay because Im assuming since the driver window works, that should be fine.

Can anyone help me to find what is the problem. I notice that when I check the connector to the window motor on the passenger front door, there is no ground. I have checked all the grounds on the body I could find and cleaned them all up, plus the only electrical problem Im having with 3 windows. Everything works fine.

Same thing happened on my 2017 Forester after I disconnected the battery for a repair.
Subaru windows need to be reprogrammed.
It was very easy fix.
Turn on the key. Go to each individual door with problems.
Hold the window switch down for a count of 10, and then up for a count of 10. (Or visa- versa)
This should reprogram them.
