Just replaced trunk lock actuator assembly, still not locking

I have a 2008 Subaru Impreza 4D Manual trans and last week the trunk stopped latching. I assumed the actuator/motor had gone bad so I ordered a replacement, just put it in this morning and it still isn’t latching or locking. I assume it’s an electrical issue, but I’m not sure what fuses to check or where to start.
