Just had right/left CV joints replaced on 97 Legacy Wagon

Just an FYI.

First CV replacement(about 107,000 on the car), heard the dreaded
'click click click' when making left hand turns. Both boots were
cracked, me being no mechanic took it to my neighborhood guy.

He used (new) Mevotech (CVN8014) which he picked up for $125 each.
Total cost was $396.81

Did you replace the inside boots as well? The delta cost should be small
since you have the axle removed.

The part mentioned in original post is a full axle shaft and I assume
inside boot is the upper boot? Yep, my car parts equipment knowledge
is pitiful!
