Hi,
I’m the proud owner of a 98 Impreza L Sportwagon with a 2.2 liter engine that has traveled over 500k miles. I bought it new so they are all mine. I’m looking to restore it from 26 years of life on the street in NYC, rust and dents mostly, and could use some recommendations. Glad to be a part of this group!

Get her up in the air at a trusted garage and inspect the underside for rust damage. Don't be disappointed if she is rotted out. Do this before you dump a bunch of money into her. They don't call it the rust belt for nothing,!!
