Interior dome light not working

i have a 2002 impreza wagon , my dome light was not working . the fuse that controls it is the same one as the dash lights and the clock . if those are working pull your light out of the holder and check for corrosion where it touches both prongs , in the center of those prongs is a round opening that the bulb pops into , if there is corrosion in those openings your light wont work .
