Install problem with H001SXC001

I ordered part # H001SXC001 remote starter and I am having problems with connecting the wire harness in the package to the wire harness in the SUV. Possible wrong harness sent because the connectors don't match

I just installed this on Saturday. No problem at all making the connection. What model and year is your Ascent? Shouldn't be any difference, but did you remove the two pin short and connect the two pin and six pin connectors? The other end connector goes into the controller box as you know. Just had the FOB's registered today at the dealership.

The first thing to check is to confirm that the H001SXC001 part is the one that is compatible with your SUV model. Sometimes, even small differences in model numbers can result in incorrect wiring harnesses being sent.
