picture?My new Crosstrek which I bought with cash has a GPS tracker installed by the dealer. I only discovered it because it just fell out from behind the driver side instrument panel dangling by the wire harness. It is a Spireon.
ya....Allstate been bugging me to do that for years for a discount. My answer is always the same. Talk to the hand...over my dead body.Yeah, I would not be a happy camper that the dealership did that… I don’t doubt that the same is buried inside the cars coming from the factory.
I think that it is insulting for an insurance company to ask their customers to agree to track their driving habits to save a few bucks… if they can get enough sheep to do it, I am sure they would lobby the bureaucrats to mandate it.
