Inductive Cell charger

2023 Outback. Has the inductive - lay it flat charger for the iPhone. Works well to charge the phone, but if you leave it in the device for more than :30-:45 the phone overheats. Does anyone else have one of these and how does yours work? Not only dangerous, it's going to kill the phone.

Just back from dealer. Subaru says the option is flawed and they are aware. No fix or swap of parts available. I'll await their update to update here.
