Hood shake

Good afternoon everybody. I have a 2023 forester. I noticed that when I drive between sixty and eighty miles an hour that the hood starts to shake up and down quite a bit. Is there a fix or a recall. I'm still under warranty. But if it's an easy fix, I'd rather do it myself, you know how these dealers are

Okay I found something on the internet. Two rubber bushings on an ethical hood can be adjusted to a different height.Possibly might help the shaking.

Perhaps the hood's bumper stops need to be adjusted so that the hood closes snugly against them. Look for the rubber (?) bumpers that the hood closes on and adjust them if you can. The hood should close snugly and evenly against them - make sure that the hood latch and release mechanism works properly if you make the adjustments. You do not want the hood to fly open when you are driving ... or any other time for that matter.

Take it to mechanic if you do not want to do this yourself. The adjustments should not cost much. Also ... you might consider locating a reliable independent shop that works on import cars. Subaru, even those built in Indiana, are considered imports.

Great info. I found a video on it also. You were correct. I adjusted them. Not shaking anymore

Oh, please make sure that the closed hood is securely latched in place. A hood flying open and blocking your view while driving is not conducive to safe driving.
