Dear everyone
Wonder if anyone can help. I have a 98 Impreza 2.0L Sport. Recently it has
had the airflow meter replaced by a friend of mine, but now the "Check
Engine" light flashes on the dashboard, after it has been running for a
minute or so. In the owners manual, it says that a flashing light (rather
than the light being on continuously) means that there is a fault with the
immobiliser. The car starts and runs fine, and has been doing so for
weeks.
I was wondering if the immobiliser needs "resetting" in some way. Anyone
know if there is a way of trying this?
I'd be grateful for any help
Regards
Bob.
