CV joints

As far as I know they will interchange. Just check the lengths. If th
same length or close to the same length then no problem.

hi all, need to replace both front outer CV joints on my 91 legacy gt turbo,
i can get full shafts complete from a friend, these are in great order, for
me replacing the full shaft with both cvs and boots already attached is a
straight forward job.
The question is, these are off a 1996 legacy 250t, they look the same as mine,
will these fit a 91 legacy gt????, any advice welcome, thx andy

hi johninKY, yes that would be the smart thing to do, only problem is they
are 1000kms south of my city, and the owner of them does not know a cv from
sparkplug hahaha, so i was hoping someone might know for sure if they can be
swapped over without trouble, many thx for your info, thx andy

Hi,

In addition to length, you'll want to count the number of splines at
each end--I don't know which years are affected, but some use a
different spline count for manual and auto transmissions. (Don't ask how
I learned this...)

Hi,

They don't have a phone, e-mail, snail mail or jungle drum connection?

Count yours, have them count theirs. Compare results via one of the long
distance communications modes humans have devised in the last few
millenia. Ain't no biggie... :D
