How do I switch from adaptive cruise control to conventional cruise control?

Not sure what year car you're talking about, but in our 2020 Legacy you just hold down one of the adaptive range buttons until you hear a beep. You'll notice the little cruise control icon on the dash change from the adaptive mode to regular mode. Hold in a range button again until you hear a beep, and you're back in adaptive mode.

How do I switch from adaptive cruise control to conventional cruise control?

Push and Hold the up or down arrow that you would use to adjust your following distance. It will change it between ACC and conventional cruise.

Edit, just dont forget your not in ACC so you dont hit someone in front of you...
