91 Legacy door panel

Want to remove the drivers door panel on 91 Legacy to try and pound out a
dent in sheet metal. Any hints or tricks for easy removal of the panel?

Not too hard - easier with power windows. Now, how's my memory tonight...?
Leave window UP. Disconnect -ve battery terminal. Lever out the door latch
trim without snapping off the two clips at top & bottom. 1 or 2 screws
behind little covers in armrest. 3? screws at base of speaker cover. Then
go around base and 2 sides of panel and carefully pop clips free -
something with a broad flat blade - don't scratch paint! Disconnect
terminal blocks from window & doorlock switchgear. Gently lift whole panel
up to release the snap clips at the top of the door. It will bind under the
triangular fillet at the front of the window. That pulls stright out unless
some wally has previously snapped off the 3 pins and glued it back on! If
so - work panel around it gently. back on is a straight reverse. Remember
to reconnect the cable blocks. Manual window winder - Help needed from
someone else. Cheers
