90 subaru legacy flexiplate

Hi can anyone tell me what it involves and cost to repair a
flexiplate, I have been told that is what is wrong with my car. Thanks

Sure. First of all, you don't repair one, you replace it. Since the
flexplate connects the engine to the automatic transmission's torque
converter, you have to remove either the engine, or the transmission
to get to it.
