2018 Subaru Forester A/C condenser issues only 51,000 miles!!

Had to replace the A/C condenser - quit at 51,000 miles. Subaru only offered $1,000 off on the dealership estimate of $2,000 for repairs. Went to 3 other repair facilities - all 3 were under $1,000 for the entire repair and did diagnostic for free - Subaru charged $225 for diagnostic. Subaru definitely doesn't stand behind their vehicle - NOT reliable like they advertise!!

Well, The A/C condenser is the first item in line of sight to the outside environment. A stone thrown up from another vehicle on the expressway may have taken it out. It happens frequently to all sorts of vehicles. Not to much you can do...

When my back up camera was out on my 2017 Forester, I took it to the West Colfax Subaru Autonation Dealership and they checked it out for nothing and gave me a price for its replacement but told me to go to the local Best Buy and have a new radio/ camera installed for about half the price. I was happy!
