2016 Legacy driver rear door lock and window inoperable

I have a 2016 Subaru Legacy that has no power to the door lock and window on the driver side rear door. All other doors have no issues. I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this before? The parts guy at the dealership thought that I should start with a new master switch but at $280 I thought I would start here first.

Check the door wiring at the rear door where it's hinged for any damage. Use a wiring schematic to test the operation of the window motor and electric lock. Test first and repair after the test.
