I have a 2013 Legacy and just found out that the front sub frame is rotted. My mechanic says it's fixed able but I'm done putting money into it. Looking at the car you would think it's 2 years old. But it's got 220k on it. So far this year I replaced the exhaust, brand new Michelin Defender 2 tires, all new brakes, new air conditioner condenser rear wheel bearings. And has all the fluids changed. Like I mentioned I'm done putting money in the car. I'm not a mechanic getting it fixed is expensive for me. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can recoup some of the money I put in the car?

11 years old and the frame is rotted? That doesn't see right. Mine are northern cars and 25 years old with no rot and minimal rust. You could sell it as is to someone who wanted to repair it and put the $ toward something new.
