1998 Forester Roof rack question

Hi all, new to the forum. Just picked up a used '98 Forester to be used as my camping vehicle. Previous owner lost keys to the roof rack cross members. Any suggestions on how to take them off? Best way to bust the locks?
I want to be able to take them off when not in use.
