My son’s 09 legacy got hot for first time last weekend on his way home from bout 3 miles away . Coolant dumping from reservoir from back pressure. Thermostat is on bottom of of motor so started there replaced that. Still started getting hot after a few miles, so went to fans seemed to be not kicking on, engaged one when ac was turned on and eventually the second kicked on the main fan circuit in box did not even have a fuse in if I’m reading right installed and it idled fine in driveway for hours engaging etc. test drove and again got hot few miles in , back pressure, no coolant in oil etc. any ideas appreciated, thank you.
