I believe all Legacy, Outback and Baja models sold in North America are
made in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Impreza based vehicles sold here are made in Japan.
DAW said:Yup Lafayette Indiana. And Bob Rohrman Subaru just down the road from the
factory has the best Subaru service.
Quality records have not down. More keep coming every year. So what do you
mean by" Unfortunately, Indiana" ?
Bonehenge said:My Indiana-built subie and California-built Toyota are top notch!
John said:My Indiana-built 2001 OBW is a well-built car.
And final assembly is just one of many parts of the process of making a car.

Thanks for reminding me that Japanese engineering is outstanding.
Non union assembly of a well designed car using quality components
makes for a long lasting vehicle. Ford donates $1000 for every jag and
$500 for every volvo sold to groups wanting gay marriage. Guess who is
really making those donations-- Ford customers.
