Hi All,
My first post. I just bought the 2025 Crosstrek Wilderness. So far I love it! Only thing I have noticed is the usb charging ports are terribly slow!!
I have tried the 2.0 and 3.0. They are so slow they are hardly charging. I have wireless charging but it doesn't like the cover on my phone so ordered a new one. So jury is
still out on that.

Anybody else have this issue? Any way to fix it?

Thanks!!!

Hello, I bought this to use in my 2018 Crosstrek, charges super fast, no issues, the C Type port is the Super Fast charger....I hope this helps. The below picture shows how it's charging when plugged into my car.

What did you buy?

We have a 2022 Crosstrek Ltd, and the USB ports are a little wimpy. There are dozens of lighter plug type chargers on Amazon that offer both USB A and C ports and can ramp up the charging speed. Shop around. Look at the reviews.

Congrats on your new car! I noted the same thing a few months ago when I got mine and read forum threads. I came to the conclusion that if I am using CarPlay features the chargers tend to maintain battery level rather than really charge. If the phone is turned off charging improves. And my Otterbox case also prevents the mag charging. Please post any solution you find?
