Too much oil ??

I have a 2024 Outback that I just put in 5 quarts of Mobil 1 into the 2.5L engine, will this harm the engine??

Great !!!! I see a number of different specs for oil capacity........ 4.8 qts to 5.1 qts.

My recommendation would be to park the vehicle on level ground (there's a widget for that), let it sit for at least three hours, then measure the oil level on the dipstick.
