Do I have one problem or two. Door lock issue

I had to replace my driver's side mirror in my 2018 Impreza and took off the inner door panel. The job seemed simple, the only issue being catching the three bolts before they fell into the bottom of the door. After putting everything back together, the door lock would lock using the button on the key, but would not unlock. When I use the key to unlock the door, the alarm goes off, unless I am very quick pushing the lock button on the key. Are both issues part of the same problem, or will I have to address each one separately?
