tires for outback

I own a 2000 outback wagon and really need new tires. Can anyone recommend
what would be best, not necessarily for snow.

Do you want blackwall or OWL? Bridgestone are just about the only tire
company that still sells OWL. I went for Blackwall and bought Canadian Tire
specials.
