tips and tricks for BAD GAS MILEAGE

We all know to save fuel you need a smaller carburetor

I removed my carburetor
Then filled the intake manifold with thick chain to brake up the fuel
partcals
and restrict the air and fuel flow from the carburetor to the manifold
so your intake has to be less
there is no chance of the chain it going into the system
I refitted the carburetor
I did this last week.
I useto get + - 10 Km/1 Litre
Now I get + - 15 Km / 1 Litre
looks like it works

My car is a Hyundai Accent 1.3 XS

How ever the performance is not as good as it use to be .
But my topend is still there .
It takes a little longer to get there .

can any one tell me if this is good or bad

My name is Jim

Must be a Hyundai thing? :D

Yep ... any Subaru owner would have connected the thick chain to the rear
of another vehicle travelling to roughly the desired destination then sat
back and enjoyed the ride, especially whilst returning 0L/100Km (except
for the drive through the last few streets!) Cheers
