“Pedal Commander?”

So I have a 2022 Legacy Limited 2.5. I was looking to get a little more fun out of it. I researched Pedal Commander and other off brands and decided on Hike - It. It was a Black Friday Deal. I plugged it in and every warning light was triggered; Check Engine, Eye Sight disabled and a handful of other safety features. The engine also idled rough. I immediately took the unit off and everything reset in about a day and 1/2. Has anyone else tried one of these or a Pedal Commander?

I emailed the company and was given directions on how the vehicle needs to learn the unit…. Think I just want to return it at this point. Any input? Thanks!

The unit and the response from the company for the vehicle "to learn the unit" is quite lame.
That unit is attached to the CAN (Controller Area Network) network.
The most unpleasant experience you would not want to encounter, is when the unit interrupts a Driver Safety Systems because "all controller messages" are sent via CAN.
pedal commander has NOT kept up with the times, especially in your vehicle.
Great idea, return it and save a few lives.
