Our son purchased a 92 Loyale with a locked up engine. Neither one of us had worked on a Subaru before. We pulled the motor and have it down to the crankcase. We cannot turn the motor over. We thought we would just split the crankcase and see what happens, but we can’t get apart. So now we are soaking the pistons/bores with WD40 and hope it loosens things up. Any suggestions?
