Hi
I am getting a boat next week. It's a 16' aluminum. Boat and engine weigh in at about 1100 lbs. Not sure about the trailer, but figure can't be more than a few hundred. So 1400 lbs with gear and a couple guys in the car, somewhere in the area of 1800 lbs total.
I have a '23 Outback 2.4, so I know on paper I'm well within the limit.
My question to anybody that has towed a boat with a similar load is how will my experience at the ramp be? Even though towing weight should be fine, is pulling the load out of the water going to be ok? Any Suggestions or tips would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
J
