Hi! I am trying to help my dad purchase a new phone and want to make sure it will be compatible with his 2018 Forester. His current phone is about a decade old and, well, you can imagine how well it's working now.
I want him to get a Google Pixel. Don't want an iPhone because I don't know iPhones. I'll be his tech support and I live out of town. It has to be something I can help with over the phone. (He's in his late 70s and not tech savvy.)
I have searched the Internet but I cannot find feedback from anyone who uses a Pixel with a 2018 Forester. When I tried entering the Pixel phone into the Starlink website, it said it wasn't tested.
This model of his car is apparently the last one to use the Starlink system.
Any knowledge that anyone can share will be greatly appreciated!
